Last weekend the Annual Naimuri Summer Party took place at Cranage Hall in Cheshire. It’s a beautiful, classy, Grade II listed estate hotel – the perfect location for Naimuri to take part in giant tripping, inflatable hurdling, penguin egg passing and sausage bouncing. Via Off Limits Events, we booked It’s a Knockout which is based on the comedy game show from the 60’s. Not many people knew what to expect as they hadn’t seen the programme, which only made it funnier when they were too close for comfort exchanging said penguin egg or having the ground pulled from beneath them whilst modelling an 8ft giant suit.
Prior to the event, attendees were split into six teams to compete against each other and as you can imagine some people’s competitive side decided to make a booming appearance. It’s hard to describe what actually went on during the event, and a picture is worth a thousand words, so take a look at the pictures below of how we spent our Saturday afternoon.
It was definitely an afternoon of laughs and I’d hazard a guess that no one left the event dry. In the end however, the light blue team were victorious… but if you ask any of the other teams, you’d probably be told that the light blue team are prone to cheating too!
After a few hours recovery, we met for an evening meal which was of course lovely and gave everyone a chance for a good chatter. The night ended with games of pool, drinking and dancing. The next morning began with a hearty breakfast and, from what I hear, many a sore head.
Thankfully, we’re all fully recovered now and looking forward to what the next summer party will bring!
