It was fantastic to represent Naimuri at the DPRTE summit in Manchester recently.
The energy and expertise in the room, focusing on the future of UK Defence procurement and technology, was inspiring.
We are exceptionally proud of Naimuri's active membership within the North West Regional Defence & Security Cluster (NWRDSC).
The day was bookended by an excellent address from the Cluster Chair, Prof Andrew Schofield, whose opening and closing remarks effectively set the tone for the summit. Furthermore, we recognise the significant contribution of Programme Manager, Helen, who skillfully moderated an engaging panel discussion, injecting considerable energy and enthusiasm into the proceedings.
A particularly powerful theme, highlighted by Michael Spiteri, was the imperative to break down silos and foster greater collaboration with colleagues operating in similar domains.
This message emphasises the strategic necessity of working together to achieve collective goals and maximize shared capability. In summary, the DPRTE summit underscored that the future of UK Defence relies on strategic investment in data, AI, and—critically—a unified industrial base.
We look forward to driving these collaborative efforts forward through the NWRDSC.
