We’re excited to announce that Eddie Newton has been promoted to a new leadership role at Naimuri as our Homeland Sector Lead .
Eddie has already made a significant impact as Interim Sector Lead, helping law enforcement partners apply cutting-edge tech to real-world challenges. His work has bridged the gap between policing needs and innovative, ethical solutions, like his recent reflection on AI’s role in tackling stalking, where he emphasised the importance of protecting privacy and empowering victims.
In his new role, Eddie will guide Naimuri’s strategic direction across homeland security, working with law enforcement to tackle growing threats.
“Eddie’s appointment is a reflection of both his deep understanding of the sector and his unwavering commitment to making a difference,” said Alice Spreckley, Managing Director at Naimuri. “His leadership in the Homeland Sector will be instrumental as we continue to develop technologies that not only meet the needs of our partners but also align with our values of trust, innovation, and public service.”
"It's been truly impressive to see first-hand, Naimuri's ability to provide Agile Data Solutions that meet specific customer needs so rapidly. I'm immensely proud to be part of this outstanding team and honoured to be selected to head the Homeland Sector team, following my predecessor Ian's significant contributions. I look forward to driving further innovation and solutions for our customers." - Said Eddie.
Before joining Naimuri, Eddie was Chief Superintendent for Lancashire Constabulary’s South division and formerly the force’s Head of ICT and Digital Transformation.
Eddie’s promotion reflects both his unique blend of technical insight and operational empathy and our commitment to growing leaders from within, aligning people to purpose.
His leadership will focus on scalable, secure technologies that support critical missions and protect vulnerable communities.
