Day in the Life

What is the best thing about working at Naimuri?

The people, the culture, the mission.

How did you find the recruitment process?

Great, the communication was good and I liked the way the interviews were with other BAs at Naimuri - so I felt they knew what they were looking for and I got the opportunity to ask the question I wanted, to the people that were doing the role.

Describe a typical day in your role?

Working with clients and the development team to deliver solutions that meet our customer needs - often in really innovative ways.

I'm also a member of the Naimuri Power group which delivers benefits to all of our people. It's fun and I'm always learning new things!

What are the main skills you need to do your role?

-Communication understanding the why behind requirements.
-Working with stakeholders and delivery teams to get a shared view.
-Research & Analysis - defining current and future processes and the impacts of any change.
-Negotiation & Persuasion - understanding different viewpoints, influencing for change.
-Adaptability - no two days are the same!

What is the biggest challenge you find in your role/industry?

Gaining that shared view as early as possible. It could be the current or future state view. It can be hard to engage busy or change resistant people. It's challenging - but in a good way and I love that part! Getting the right people together and having the right conversations is magic - and it pays back 10 fold or more when you deliver the right thing.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Spending time with family and friends.
I love socialising, being outside, walking dogs or getting on the beach.

What are your career aspirations?

To continue working somewhere that aligns with my own values and beliefs is so important. Naimuri offers lots of progression and development. I can't imagine I'll be bored anytime soon!

What would you say to anyone considering doing the same role as you?

DO IT! There is so much to learn in this industry & the Business Analyst skills are so transferable too.
