We are driven by the desire to make the ‘UK a safer and better place to be’.
‘nai’ meaning ‘not’
‘muri’ meaning
‘overburden’
We’ve been around for about seven-years and gone from being a little-known tech start-up to creating our very own community at the heart of the tech and digital epicentre of the UK - Manchester.
We are part of the QinetiQ family (acquired in 2020), but continue to shape our own individual brand identity and culture as we work with them to scale our organisation.
Our name Naimuri is Japanese and simply means…
‘nai’ meaning ‘not’
‘muri’ meaning ‘overburden’
These principles apply to every aspect of an organisation from technology, process and infrastructure, through to people, culture and leadership.
This means that we empower our teams to do what they think is the right thing, giving them the skills and confidence to explore new ways of working, and to create a bias-free environment, where all our people feel comfortable collaborating to deliver the finest ideas and solutions.
Our business is focused on 4 cornerstones, which shape and underpin the way in which we go about work and treat each other. These are:
Wellbeing, Empowerment, Perpetual Edge and Delivery.
People and culture are at the heart of Naimuri, so that collectively, we can realise our mission of ‘making the UK a safer place to be’....
Our values are what shape our business and day-to-day life and culture at Naimuri and have been crafted by our people.
These are:
Everyone has a voice at Naimuri and as we grow, we are continually looking at ways to enhance how we share, operate, communicate and learn as an open and inclusive community.
Continuing to break the bias and do things differently...
We work with amazing clients, including law enforcement and government departments that are on the frontline of keeping the UK safe.
Our clients put their trust in us to find solutions to help solve data intelligence challenges through the innovative use of technology.
Our agile and lean ways of working enable us to move quickly and create innovative solutions to often problematic situations.
Naimuri also stands for ‘no waste’. ‘Lean’ is about stripping away all that is unnecessary, complicated, wasteful and likely to be a barrier to progress.
These principles apply to every aspect of an organisation from technology, process and infrastructure, through to people, culture and leadership.
Our clients know that throughout the development and delivery process, everything is secure by default and designed from the outset to deliver the highest level of trusted systems.
We are the company everyone wants to work with…..
The work we do has a positive impact on life as we know it.
The solutions we deliver for our clients have both social and economic benefits and help us to realise our mission to ‘make the UK a safer and better place to be’.
But aside from our day-to-day work we are passionate about our people and evolving a working culture that is open and honest and inclusive and diverse.
Our internal power groups help us to focus on our environmental, philanthropic, ethical, and economic responsibilities and create initiatives to deliver change; however subtle that may be.
We care about the world we live in, whether that is here in Manchester helping to nurture the next generation of talent or giving back to our local communities or looking further afield and making a positive contribution to the world as we know it.
Be positive and continue to enable change for the better…..
Our Carbon Neutral Group, challenge our day-to-day activities and strive to find new ways to help us make more informed decisions and reduce our impact on our environment.
Our ultimate aim is to reduce any negative environmental impact and make the world a more liveable place for ourselves and future generations.
We take our commitment to contributing to a more positive global movement seriously, and continually explore new initiatives to help reduce waste, lower our carbon footprint and emissions. We hope to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2050 or sooner, if we can.
Small steps can hopefully go a long way to making big changes…..
